How To Wrap Or Present Christmas Gifts

Last Updated: 14 April 2026

Key Points

  • Branded gift bags make Christmas gifting easier when you need to pack and hand out large volumes quickly.
  • Our account managers often suggest calico or eco-friendly bags since they get reused and keep your branding visible longer.
  • Adding simple touches like ribbons or tags helps gifts feel more considered without slowing down your packing process.

Promotional Christmas gift bags are a perfect solution for spreading holiday cheer while showcasing your brand. These customisable bags not only make gift-giving effortless but also serve as a practical and stylish way to highlight your company logo. Whether you’re distributing corporate presents or seasonal giveaways, these bags ensure your brand stands out during the festive season.

Wrapping a present requires skills and creativity. It could be daunting and time-consuming if you’re not used to it. Remember that you must distribute hundreds or thousands of promotional occasion gifts before the holiday break.

So here’s where our promotional products, like gift bags, calico bags, trinket boxes, paper bags, and eco-friendly bags, come in handy. These bags can easily double as Christmas bags. You can also have any of these bags or boxes printed with your company’s logo or design, which makes them an ideal corporate Christmas gift.

Gift Bags

This customisable bag is made to hold gifts for any occasion. Cubic Promote has a wide selection of gift bags in multiple colours, sizes, and materials. For example, we have wine gift bags to secure branded wine bottles safely. Some of our wine gift bags are made from laminated materials or non-woven polypropylene totes. Gift bags pair perfectly with wine glasses.

Calico Bags

Personalised calico bags are a versatile promotional item. After using it as a gift bag, your recipient can reuse it for other purposes, like a shopping bag. When the recipient shops or runs errands, many will likely see your brand printed on the bag, making it an ideal Christmas gift.

Trinket Boxes

Some personalised holiday gifts, like Christmas cups, are fragile and should be stored in a sturdy box. We provide stunning square trinket boxes with a trim of parallel lines that adorns each edge and pops against the black body.

Paper Bags

Brandable paper bags are the most cost-effective option if you need a gift bag but want to save the budget. Cubic Promote has many paper bags available in various styles and colours. If you’re looking for a more durable choice, we offer gloss laminated paper bags that you could use to store Christmas gift sets.

Eco-Friendly Bags

Promotional eco-friendly bags are perfect for environmentally conscious businesses that support the drive against single-use plastics. We provide custom green bags made from biodegradable materials, such as cotton, jute, bamboo, hessian cloth, and recycled materials.

How to Wrap a Christmas Gift

However, nothing compares to the conventional gift-wrapping method, given that you’ve taken the time and effort to do it. Here’s how to go about it:

What You’ll Need

  • Gift tags, bows, and custom ribbons
  • Box
  • Wrapping paper
  • Double-sided tape
  • A pair of scissors

Wrapping Instructions

  1. Lay your box face-down on the gift wrap, leaving the wrapping paper attached to the roll. Make a sheet wide enough to cover both sides of the box using scissors to cut along one edge. At Cubic Promote, we offer promotional wrapping papers branded with your logo.
  2. Pull the paper tautly up and over the far end of the box while standing on the same side of the table as the roll. Apply double-sided tape, then use your thumb and forefinger to make creases in the paper along the box’s edge.
  3. Get the paper out of the roll and bring it to the end that’s been wrapped. Leave an inch of paper hanging after cutting it from the roll. Fold and crease that inch. Apply double-sided tape to secure.
  4. It’s time to work on one of the box’s open ends. Create four 45-degree-angled flaps by folding the paper’s sides inward and creasing them together.
  5. Fold the top flap down. Make a sharp crease along the top of the box, then another one where the paper meets the bottom edge. The paper should be cut along that bottom crease. Secure it with double-sided tape.
  6. Fold any extra paper under the bottom flap to properly align with the top of the box. Tape the bottom flap with double-sided adhesive, then fold the top flap over it and secure it with tape.
  7. On the other open end of the box, carry out steps four through six.
  8. Add a ribbon or bow to make the Christmas gift more attractive. Finally, attach a personalised gift card bearing your holiday greetings and company logo as a special touch.

We hope this efficient way of “wrapping” promotional products will help you save both time and money. Customised Christmas gift bags and boxes also allow more branding opportunities to promote your company, where everyone will see it.
